Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – Studio Villas

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is an opening day (10/1/1971) Resort to Walt Disney World. The resort recently underwent it’s most recent refurbishment and is also expanding to include a new Island Tower, with rooms accommodating 2-8 people, which is be opening in late (December) 2024.

The main Polynesian Village is comprised of standard hotel rooms, club rooms and suites, Bungalows (sleeping up to 5 adults, 8 people max) on the water as well as studio rooms (sleeping 4 adults /5 guests and is shown in the above video).

Many guests love this resort and choose it for it’s proximity to Disney’s Magic Kingdom (boat or monorail access to Magic Kingdom), as well as the Ticket and Transportation system (with monorail access to EPCOT). The laid back island vibe and fireworks views make it an extra special destination for families. Fishing excursions and boat rental opportunities are also available at this resort.
