Over the last several years, AdventHealth and Walt Disney World resort have developed a wonderful partnership that gives you all sorts of options for medical care in the event you need those resources during your stay.

During our February 2023 family trip to Walt Disney World we utilized the urgent care and transportation services offered by AdventHealth.

The transportation, which is available at no-cost to you, will pick you up from your Walt Disney World resort and take you to a nearby urgent care facility. The service will also take you to pick up any prescriptions and then return you back to wherever you need to go inside the Walt Disney World resort! All you have to do is schedule the appointment and call the AdventHealth service to schedule your pick-up. One of our children was really struggling with her allergy symptoms and we were concerned it could be something turning out to be more serious, so we made the calls and booked the appointment on line. Within 15 minutes of calling for the transportation, we were on the way to the appointment.

The transportation is very clean, masks are provided inside the vehicle (at the time of this post) and the staff was very professional.

**Any medical care and prescriptions you may require will be charged according to your insurance coverage and is not covered as part of the service.

Overall, our experience was seamless, prompt and easy. Luckily, our situation was easy to diagnose and we were back to enjoying our vacation.
