Make the most of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort stay by preparing for how you will “live” while on vacation.

The following provides our personal tips and tricks on how we “live” in our hotel room while staying at Walt Disney World Resort. This resource is written with considerations to saving, time, money and your sanity.
Prior to arrival, our family has already built an Amazon Prime Now cart with must have snacks and beverages. This typically includes snack foods (like pretzels and Nutri-Grain bars) as well as bottled water and sports/hydration drinks. The items we choose are usually based on what we would want to have available to snack on at anytime and not be wasting time (while hangry) trying to find something small to get us through while out at about. Basically, it’s about convenience and comfort. Ask yourself, “What is something we always have to snack on at home?” and Bam, there you go. Sure, you will want Disney treats because you are on vacation in the most Magical Place on Earth. But, it’s always nice to have those quick and easy creature comforts.
On our vacations, we usually go light on breakfast (unless we have special dining reserved) and use the snacks and beverages in our room to get us out and about for the day. This is something we do regardless of whether or not we are on the Disney Dining Plan. We also add things like paper towels. This is not necessarily required but we find them handy. Additionally, if you are driving, you can always bring snacks, drinks and paper essentials, in your vehicle.
I have compiled a comprehensive list of items we order or pack in our bags for our stays. This printable list also includes information about delivery services and Mouse Keeping. If you missed my previous post about packing for the parks, check that out here. This will also provide you a link to another printable list for packing for the parks.
