Whoa, a busy week of updates over at Walt Disney World resort.

• Disney released a lot of new food options, particularly in Magic Kingdom.
• The Electrical Water Pageant is returning to 7 Seas Lagoon very soon!
• RISE OF THE RESISTANCE: Beginning December 20, 2020, Boarding Group reservations will still be available for guests to attempt to book in the MyDisneyExperience App beginning at 7 AM EST — Guests must have a valid park reservations for Hollywood Studios in order to book. After the initial Boarding Group release, an additional release will occur at 1PM EST and will only be available to those already inside Hollywood Studios. The 1 PM release is subject to ride capacity for the day and is not guaranteed. Beginning on January 1st, those who have park hopper tickets and elect to park hop (which is not permitted until 2PM) will not be eligible for a boarding group UNLESS the guests initially reserved park was Hollywood Studios and the guest scanned into the park (i.e. Plans to leave Hollywood Studios and “hop” to another park rather than attempting to “hop” to Hollywood Studios later in the day in hopes of a Boarding Group. The later makes the guest ineligible for a Boarding Group.)

Festivals

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts will kick off January 8 and run through February 22. This will be quickly followed by the always popular (…and one of the most beautiful times to visit EPCOT, in my opinion!), The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival arrives on March 3 and runs through July 5.
