On October 1, 2021, Walt Disney World began it’s 18-month-long celebration of it’s 50th anniversary. New cavalcades, stage shows, water shows (Animal Kingdom’s “Kite Tails”), nighttime spectaculars (Magic Kingdom’s “Enchantment” and EPCOT’s “Harmonious”), decor and costuming is live and the excitement is definitely in Central Florida.

The beginning of this month also meant the opening day for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion inside EPCOT. La Creperie’ de Paris, a quick service and table service restaurant also opened across from the attraction and has already seen great reviews and praise.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened with a virtual queueing system, similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (ROR) which no longer requires a virtual queue. ROR is now a standby line only and Disability Accessibility Service (DAS) is available. At 7am EST, guests with a Park Pass Reservation to EPCOT, will be able to join the Remy’s virtual queue. Guests who did not obtain a boarding group at 7am can join the Virtual Queue at 1pm EST as long as the guest has scanned into EPCOT prior to the 1pm Boarding Group release. Guests do not need to be inside the park at 1pm to join the queue but must have already scanned their ticket into the park before 1pm.

As of now, there is no formally announced launch date to the Disney Genie service but look for Disney Genie to impact the queueing systems for both attractions when it goes live.

Star Wars: Galatic StarCruiser – Opening and Booking Dates announced.

Inaugural cruisers on the Halcyon will begin in March 1, 2022 and booking for this immersive experience opens to the general public on October 28, 2021.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Opening Announced

EPCOT’s re-imagining is in full swing. Creations Shop, the replacement of Mouse Gear, opened along with the new Club Cool ( try the flavors of Coca-Cola from around the world), as well as the SPACE 220 Space dining experience all opened in late September, just in time for the 50th celebration kick-off.

AND…. We now know the opening timeline for Guardian’s of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which is coming very soon–2022! Stay tuned for more information on it’s official opening date.
